Following the release of GCE ‘O’ level examination results, candidates may appeal for a review of their results within one week from the date of release. Every appeal goes through a process that involves a re-marking of the answer script and a re-check of the marks awarded. Re-marking of scripts is done by a senior marker who is different from the original marker. The purpose of this independent review is to verify that the code of practice for marking had been strictly adhered to.
